Taunton Casino Extends Operating Hours and Expands Gaming Offerings
The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe's Taunton Casino, known as First Light Casino, has announced an expansion of its operating hours and gaming offerings. From July 28, 2025, the casino will be open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
Located at 1 OβConnell Way in Taunton, Massachusetts, the casino has rapidly expanded since it opened earlier in 2025. Initially operating more limited hours and offering fewer slot machines, the casino has grown to include up to 250 slot-like electronic bingo machines and has obtained a liquor license.
With these changes, the casino is transitioning from a "Welcome Center" to a full casino destination under the tribeβs continued development plans. The new operating hours mark a significant extension from the previous closing time of midnight.
In addition to the extended hours, the casino will also offer a wider variety of gaming options. The number of electronic gaming terminals has increased from an initial 50 to up to 250. The casino's new schedule and offerings are as follows:
